MTS in Newton is searching for a new team member for our Ag and Construction Equipment Sales Staff. Qualified applicants will posses a strong work ethic, good attitude and a willingness to learn and grow. Previous sales experience and a general knowledge or background of Ag equipment is preferred. Must be able to work independently, have good time management skills, and be able to make on the phone and in person sales calls to potential and current customers. Basic computer, email and phone skills also valid drivers license and a clean driving record will be required. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Repairs equipment
• Diagnoses equipment problems and determines repairs needed
• Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations
• Performs daily safety and maintenance checks
EXPERIENCE
• Hands on mechanical experience repairing equipment such as tractors, combines, seeders, sprayers, harvesters, and balers
• Background working on equipment brands such as New Holland, CASE IH and John Deere
• Certification/licensing preferred.
KNOWLEDGE
• Agricultural and equipment safety
• Operation of agricultural equipment
• Equipment maintenance and storage procedures
• Workplace safety requirements and procedures
• Equipment cleaning standards and procedures

MTS in Newton is in search of a small engine mechanic to add to our staff. Tech will be responsible for repair and maintenance of equipment with small engines such as lawn mowers, chain saws, trimmers, blowers, etc. Tech will also have various other duties as assigned by Management.
